My View on Catching Fire

The second book of the Hunger Games series is Catching Fire written by Suzanne Collins. I've read all three books but I decided to write about the 2nd book for my independent reading assignment because it's my favorite. It's my favorite because there's drama and it's the most exciting of the three books. And having watched the movie that was based on this book I saw what the book was like visually and I was inspired to make this post about it.

Katniss and Peeta have luckily survived the Hunger Games. They won't stay relieved for long though. There are rumors that a rebellion is going to break loose because of the two "star-crossed lovers" Peeta and Katniss. Out of nowhere the next Hunger Games are going to include all of the victors from the past. Time is running out until Katniss and Peeta have to visit all of the districts on the Capital's Victory Tour, and they need to make everybody believe that Peeta and Katniss are in love or the consequences will be harsh. There are exciting new characters like Mags, Finnick, Beetee, and Johanna who became Katniss and Peetas' allies.
